Business Development Manager

Our Business Development Manager has an important and leading role in our organization. She/he is responsible for expanding the client portfolio and managing existing accounts. Sourcia has a large focus on Business Development and you will find yourself well appreciated in our organization. You will have the ability to design and develop the business development function in Sourcia. With a strong focus on SME's in Europe you need to have an entrepreneural spirit to work side by side with our clients. Also Marketing is an integral and important part of this function. 


Work Activities:

  • Prospect new customers in Biotech/Medical devices in Europe
  • Establish, monitor and coordinate timely action plans, taking into consideration positive and negative deviations from target
  • Successfully engage with new customers and other leads by closing contracts with them.
  • Develop new opportunities with existing clients
  • Represent Sourcia in conventions, exhibitions, professional associations (etc.)
  • Identify and manage new business areas and strategic initiatives in collaboration with Senior Management Sourcia
  • Lead the process to establish a mid-term strategy and a yearly budget
  • Lead important new/strategic projects and act as the “reference person”
  • Lead, execute & follow-up the European Biotech and Medical Device sales strategy



  • Bachelor or a master degree preferably in Life Sciences
  • Experience in the life science industry, preferably in clinical operations.
  • Eye for detail, a perseverant mindset and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Good interpersonal, time-management and communication skills.
  • Accurate, pro-active and service-minded with a strong analytical mind.
  • You are fluent in English and by preference in more languages.
